Quinoa Porridge

INGREDIENTS:

  • ½ uncooked Quinoa

  • ½ cup non dairy milk (we use Cashew Milk)

  • 1-2 dates (diced)

  • Cinnamon

  • Cherries

  • Walnuts

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Bring water to boil in a small saucepan.

  2. Add rinsed quinoa, cover, and reduce heat to low/medium.

  3. Let cook for 15 minutes.

  4. Remove the lid and stir in remaining ingredients.

  5. Cover again and let cook for 5 more minutes.

  6. Serve warm and top with toppings of your choice (using the ones suggested here if managing diabetes).
