Apple Hazelnut Cake

Ingredients

  • 280g spelt or all purpose gluten-free flour

  • 100g Hazelnut meal

  • 100g coconut sugar

  • 2 tsp cinnamon

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

  • 300ml plant milk

  • 125ml avocado oil

  • 60ml maple syrup

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 6 apples, cored, halved and sliced

  • Chopped hazelnuts for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F

  2. Whisk together milk, oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract

  3. Add in remaining dry ingredients and mix together until no lumps remain

  4. Pour mixture into bundt pan and lay sliced apples on top. Bake for 60 minutes until golden brown.
